When you direct your charitable giving to Delta Sigma Pi through the Leadership Foundation, your gift is used in a variety of ways. You may choose to participate in a
general giving program or designate
a specific fund or scholarship to benefit from your gift. Each gift, no matter how it’s given, is managed with the same careful attention to the values and standards the Foundation established to ensure
good stewardship.
How is my gift used?
Gifts to the Leadership Foundation support the Fraternity’s ideals. The Foundation scrutinizes each project it funds for its potential to help others, support the Fraternity and its members, and achieve maximum impact. Funded projects tend to fall into the following main categories:
Donors may choose to designate a specific fund or program for each gift, or may give to the Leadership Foundation general fund, which is distributed among a variety of scholarships, grants, and other funding needs.
How is the money handled?
The
Leadership Foundation Trustees oversee carefully selected professional management firms who steward the Foundation’s endowments and funds according to sound financial principles. These principles and standards are designed to ensure healthy growth while minimizing risk, so that the Foundation can continue to fund programs for years to come. The Foundation values transparency, and knows that business-minded Deltasigs have a vested interest in the financial health of the organization they support. To that end, the Foundation makes annual reports publicly available. Contact the
