Delta Sigma Pi is a co-ed fraternity (in fact, we were the nation's first co-ed business fraternity!) in the sense that we’re an inclusive organization sharing ideals and objectives and functioning as part of the Professional Fraternity Association. We call all of our members "brothers" in an inclusive sense, to emphasize our unity and equality.

Delta Sigma Pi phased out fraternity houses in the late 1980s as we found that their costs simply didn't justify their benefits. Our chapters maintain a busy schedule of social and professional meetings and events, and have a great culture and group identity, with involved members learning and having fun around campus and around the country.

Yes. If you join Delta Sigma Pi you're welcome to join or maintain membership in a social or honorary fraternity or sorority, and you may also maintain joint membership in Delta Sigma Pi and any non-business professional fraternities. Membership in Delta Sigma Pi does restrict you from joining another professional business fraternity. You may find that the social and service opportunities your Delta Sigma Pi chapter offers are more than enough to keep you busy, but with the time management skills you'll learn as a Deltasig, who knows what you can do!

Absolutely not. Delta Sigma Pi firmly opposes hazing in all forms, and does not tolerate any activity that could be construed as such. We educate all chapter leaders and members about hazing and how to avoid it, and we strictly enforce our hazing ban.

We will certainly do everything we can to prepare you to excel in the business world. From training events to conferences, from e-learning to mentoring and networking, Delta Sigma Pi gives our members a great start in professional development, building professional, personal, career, and life skills. The Life Member program was discontinued in the mid-1990s, as all Deltasigs are members for life. While the Fraternity continues to honor the benefits granted to all Life Members, no new members are being accepted. Although you can no longer join the program, there are a number of ways to renew your commitment to Delta Sigma Pi.
