Delta Sigma Pi's Outstanding Collegiate Relations Award recognizes alumni chapters that make significant and effective outreach to collegiate chapters an integral part of their alumni chapter operations and activities. In addition to a national winner, the Fraternity also recognizes provincial winners of this award.
Alumni chapter officers receiving the award are recognized at
Grand Chapter Congress or a
LEAD School and in
The DELTASIG. Winning chapters also receive a certificate commemorating their selection.
Application
Alumni chapters apply for the Outstanding Collegiate Relations Award via the
Hub Awards Module. All applications must be received by June 1 for consideration—no late applications are accepted or reviewed—and must contain the following information:
- Documentation that the alumni chapter is franchised for the Fraternity’s fiscal year.
- A description of all events and activities planned by the alumni chapter for collegiate chapter members including:
- Attendance numbers, where applicable.
- Type of event.
- Any special planning or preparation required on the part of the alumni chapter.
- A description of alumni participation in events and activities planned by local collegiate chapters including:
- Attendance numbers, where applicable.
- Type of event.
- A description of any alumni chapter offices, committees or assigned duties of a chapter office or committee within the alumni chapter infrastructure specifically defined to accommodate relations with collegiate chapter members.
- A description of communication strategies and methods used to inform and educate collegiate chapter members about alumni chapter events.
- A description of communication strategies and methods used to inform and educate alumni members about collegiate chapter events.
- Other relevant supporting items, such as photos of chapter functions, newspaper articles, letters, and the like, as available.
