Deltasig 2001 National Honorary Initiate Patti Holmes spoke at Delta Sigma Pi's 2001 Grand Chapter Congress as the educational keynote speaker, and also led three professional and personal development breakout sessions.
Patti is founder and president of Holmes Training and Development in Oxford, Ohio, where the company is celebrating its 14th year. She is an organizational consultant and professional speaker, specializing in training and problem solving in areas of motivation, leadership, communication, teambuilding, strategic planning and organizational change. Her clients include numerous Fortune 500 corporations as well as small privately owned businesses and non-profit organizations, including Marathon Oil, McDonald's, Formica, Fidelity Investments, Procter and Gamble, U.S. Army in Europe and Schiff-Kreidler-Shell.
Prior to founding her company, Patti began her career in higher education where she served at three major universities for 15 years. As an educator and administrator, she developed extensive expertise in leadership and management.
In the context of her work, Patti has published several articles, served as an editorial member of a professional journal for six years and is committed to enriching, educating, and energizing individuals and organizations. She is the author of the book What Do Followers Expect of Leaders?. Before becoming a Deltasig honorary member, Patti participated in the Delta Sigma Pi 2000 Ultimate Academy.
