Shanda Gray serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Leadership Foundation, where she is responsible for daily Foundation operational activities, particularly in the areas of committee and volunteer management, communications, fundraising campaigns, and maintaining regular donor outreach.
Shanda was initiated into Delta Sigma Pi at and graduated from Missouri State with a BS in marketing management. She began her career with Delta Sigma Pi in 1999 as Director of Education and Communications. In 2003, she was promoted to Associate Executive Director and also served as Leadership Foundation Executive Vice President for over 14 years, then transitioned to a new role, Associate Executive Director: Education and Events, in 2017. She led the efforts to create the award-winning Presidents' Academy, and developed volunteer and member training, including the Certified Deltasig Leader program, pledge education and chapter officer online-learning modules.
Over the years, she has been involved in the Fraternity Communications Association, where she served on the Board of Directors for nearly eight years, including as president in 2005-06. She was also recognized with the Pi Beta Phi Marilyn Simpson Ford Award for Fraternal Volunteerism and Interfraternal Service. Prior to joining the Central Office staff, she was recognized as a Delta Sigma Pi National District Director of the Year and previously served as a Regional Director (now called Regional Vice President).
Shanda works from her home in St. Louis. She enjoys adventures that lead to wine tasting, traveling the world, and checking experiences off her bucket list.
