Wisconsin-Milwaukee Brothers Win Ethics Competition

Aug 14, 2020 – Xi Chi Brothers took first place at the Lubar School of Business Ethics Case Competition in April.

Xi ChiTaquan Campbell, Aaron Flierl, Kailey Sharpe and Sydney Sampson-Webb were chosen as the winners of the Lubar School of Business Ethics Competition, sponsored by the M&I Marshall & Ilsley Center for Business Ethics, taking home a $2,000 prize.

The competition offers business students an interactive opportunity to challenge their moral reasoning, develop their understanding of the importance of business ethics, and compete for tuition-assistance awards. Student teams collaboratively analyze a thought-provoking case and then present their recommendations to a panel of experienced business educators and professionals.

The winning team is chosen based on analysis and understanding of business ethics, displaying high degrees of ethical standards, identification of trust and fairness among the case's stakeholders, transparency, and long-term value for those involved.

According to chapter president Sydney Sampson-Webb, "As brothers, we all worked together on this project and were able to encompass the brotherhood and professional values of Delta Sigma Pi."
