Heather Ferguson, Tampa, is a Foundation Committee Member, serving on the Leadership Foundation's Scholarship Selection Team, Board Development & Nominations Committee and the Stewardship Committee.

• Profession: Senior Business Analyst Consultant at PNC Bank
• Why Do You Volunteer? I volunteer so others can experience the value of our brotherhood!  Pledging Delta Sigma Pi was the best decision of my college career. It changed the trajectory of my life and provided many life-long friends including a spouse (Dean Ferguson, Georgia State).
• Who is your Deltasig inspiration and why? I was so inspired by Dean Ferguson that I married him 14 years later! I always appreciated his commitment to serving our chapters and assisting our national officers during his tenure as Director of Chapter Services and Director of Educational Services. My giving is inspired by Sparky and Buttercup Sparks. While I never knew Sparky well, Dean and I spent a great deal of time with Buttercup before she set sail on various cruises and when we visited her in San Antonio, Texas. A favorite memory was going with her on a Riverwalk cruise when her age and the temperature matched at 96! We wilted while she kept on ticking!!
  
• Most Important Deltasig/Life lesson: Delta Sigma Pi is for life!
• What do you do in your spare time?  Volunteer. In addition to Delta Sigma Pi, I am an Elder in our church and serve on the board of a local charity serving homeless families with children.
• What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? Being selected as the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation Executive Vice President
• Besides Delta Sigma Pi, what is your favorite type of pie?  Apple, using my grandmother’s recipe

  • Salty or Sweet  - Salty
  • TV or Movie - Neither
  • Museum or Zoo - Neither
  • Winter or Summer – Winter in Florida!
  • Purple or Gold - Definitely both!  Purple clothing, gold jewelry. Amethysts are also a favorite!
