Miami-Ohio Brother Named to Forbes 30 Under 30

Dec 13, 2022 – Oliver Zak co-founded company specializing in products for tattooed skin.

Oliver Zak, Miami-Ohio, had a problem. He had tattoos and couldn’t find a product that adequately protected sensitive inked skin. So, demonstrating some entrepreneurial verve any brother would be proud of, he co-founded Mad Rabbit, a company that produces numbing creams, balms and other products designed to soothe tattooed skin. Given the proliferation of inked bodies among Millennials and Gen Z, he and partner Selom Agbitor found a fertile market for its products, and the company has grown. Forbes Magazine has noticed; the venerable business publication awarded Zak and Agbitor a spot on its prestigious 30 Under 30 list for Retail and Ecommerce enterprises. According to Forbes, the company received $7 million in funding from billionaire Mark Cuban and other investors, and the company’s revenue is expected to top $16 million in 2022.

On a LinkedIn post, Zak said, “I remember when Forbes first launched 30 Under 30 when I was in high school. I would spend hours during free periods reading about young founders and their companies that are changing the world... and hoping to one day be featured alongside them. I am incredibly proud to share that my co-founder Selom Agbitor and I woke up to an email today announcing our induction into the #30under30 community. I am extremely grateful for my team at Mad Rabbit, for which I would certainly not be here today without. I am thankful for this acknowledgment and remain dedicated to the larger mission of creating a more inclusive world for self-expression.”
