Delta Sigma Pi will proudly recognize three brothers as Silver Helmet recipients at the Northeastern LEAD Provincial Conference in Newark February 17-19. Here are brief bios for our brothers Patrick Flynn, Thomas Skinner and Renee Stewart. The Fraternity
offers our congratulations and thanks them for their Deltasig service.
Patrick Flynn, CAE, Penn State-Erie, currently serves as District Director for Theta Rho at Duquesne University (PA) and has previously served as District Director for 13 years for Lambda at the University
of Pittsburgh. He has been recognized for his outstanding service as a District Director, recognized as the National DD of the Year in 2007 and recently earning regional recognition in 2022. He is a supporter of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation
and has attended more than 20 National events, including five Grand Chapter Congresses. Professionally, Patrick is the Student Engagement Manager for the Oncology Nursing Society and is credentialed as a Certified Association Executive through the
American Society of Association Executives.
Thomas Skinner, Loyola Marymount (CA), has served as South Pacific Regional Vice President, District Director for Bryant (RI), Massachusetts-Amherst, Cal State-Long Beach and UCLA, and a member of the New England Regional
Awards Committee. Tom is a supporter of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation having served as a Trustee. He has also served on the Foundation’s Gifts and Solicitations and Major Gifts Committees. He and his wife, Becki, Jefferson-East Falls (PA),
are donors to the Leadership Foundation and have been recognized with the Entrepreneur level of giving. Tom has attended nearly 50 National events, including 10 Grand Chapter Congresses. He has also been a member of the Boston, Hartford Connecticut,
Long Beach-Pier 9 and Los Angeles Alumni Chapters, having served as president at Boston. Professionally, Brother Skinner is a program manager at Amazon Logistics.
Renee Stewart, Jefferson-East Falls (PA), currently serves on the Northeastern Provincial Discipline Committee and has served as the secretary for the Northeastern Provincial Council on numerous occasions. She was a longtime
member of the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter, having served as President and VP-Finance, and has been District Director for Temple (PA). Renee has also served on a number of Fraternity and Foundation committees: Northeastern Provincial
Community Service Committee, serving as chair; the National Community Service Committee; the Eastern Regional Awards Committee; the Foundation’s Fraternity Events Committee and the Foundation’s GCC Planning Team. She is a supporter of
the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation and has attended more than 50 National events, including 11 Grand Chapter Congresses, and has attended various milestone celebrations for the Mu Pi Chapter at Penn State-Erie over the years. Professionally,
she is senior buyer, direct materials - US & Canada at Quaker Houghton, a global leader in industrial process fluids.
