During their two-year term, the student representative is responsible for providing the student perspective on how to best improve and help the needs of the faculty, administration and students of Ball State.
Churchill applied to be a student trustee because of the position’s ability to impact the Ball State community. “This role means I will be able to provide a student perspective on many important topics and decisions affecting the Ball
State students and faculty,” she said. “Ball State has provided me with many amazing opportunities, and I hope to provide amazing opportunities for other Ball State students!”
While serving as chapter president, Hope spoke of how her Delta Sigma Pi officer positions prepared her to take on this new role. “My Epsilon Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi has provided me with so many opportunities to learn and develop,”
she said. “Serving as president opened up many leadership and networking opportunities not only on campus, but also in the professional world that helped shape my brand.”
Along with the student trustee position, Hope is working with Farm Credit Mid America as a retail operations intern this summer in Louisville, Kentucky.
Congratulations Hope on your appointment as the student representative on the Ball State Board of Trustees!
