Leadership Starts Today. Rose oversees Argo's investment strategy. During his keynote, he emphasized the importance of every member of an organization being a leader in his or her respective role for overall success to be achieved. Attendees walked away with concrete, applicable points to start becoming leaders now, regardless of their position within an organization.
During breakout sessions, attendees learned from James Sanders, a professional at Morgan Stanley, in his talk titled
The Future Starts Now. Sanders spoke of personal and financial planning for college students and young professionals. He also taught attendees how to establish financial security and a healthy portfolio.
According to chapter president Julian Biles, "It's very business themed, but it's open to all majors, because there are different things you can do like networking, or maybe communicating, and it just helps put your feelers out there into different industries."
Cathleen Franke with Deltasig partner Enterprise Rent-A-Car spoke about making a positive, lasting impression to earn an interview. She also emphasized learning to network with companies and identifying potential employers.
Spurs Sports & Entertainment professional Rob Stackhausen presented
Entering the Sports Business Industry, where he spoke of his career journey throughout the sport industry. He also gave tips to stand out and be competitive.
The regional conference ended with chapter presidents meeting with their Regional Vice President Musanna Al-Muntasir. According to Al-Muntasir, "We had a great turnout with quality recruiters and speakers."
