- Appointed Randy Hultz, Jeff Briggs, Tim Augustine, Beth Keith and Tyler Wash (non-voting) to the 2020-2021 Executive Committee.
- Appointed Shawn Gregory (Chair), Jen Aichele and Joelle Berlat to the 2020-2021 Audit Committee.
- Accepted the 2019-2020 Audit of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation, as prepared by Stephenson and Warner, Inc.
- Amended Article 1, Section C, Subsection 1 of the Code of Regulations to allow the Board of Trustees to elect Trustees at any regular meeting of the Board of Trustees.
- Reviewed the recipients of the 2002 academic scholarships, as approved by the Scholarship & Grant Committee.
- Received an investment report from Aaron Berger, Vice President & Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch
- Amended the Pledge Acceptance Policy (Policy III.A.4.) to include a process to write off and discount pledges.
- Terminated the Mu Tau Diego Alvarez Memorial Scholarship Fund due to the Fund not reaching the minimum endowment amount within 5 years and moved all of the Fund’s assets to the Mu Tau Brian Bell Scholarship Fund to further support Mu Tau Chapter. Brother Alvarez will be memorialized in the historical notes and in the description for the scholarship.
- Approved the 2021-2022 Fraternity Grant Prioritization Agreement providing $120,000 in educational grants to the Fraternity. The agreement now goes to the Fraternity Board for consideration.
Actions taken between the Mid-Year Meeting on March 21, 2020 and the Annual Meeting:
- Established the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Education Fund to support the Fraternity’s educational efforts, programs and initiatives directly related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Granted the Executive Vice President the ability to approve Chapter Leadership Fund grants from the 2020 LEAD Provincial Conferences after the respective deadlines until June 30, 2020.
- Approved the 2020-2021 Budget for the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation.
- Approved the 2020-2021 Special Projects Budget for the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation.
- Approved the Volunteer Development Program Policy to establish a volunteer structure that includes roles for chapter-level (Chapter Champions), geographic (Foundation Ambassadors) and event-based (Volunteer Coordinators).
- Determined to host the Annual Meeting virtually on September 26-27.
The Foundation’s Mid-Year Meeting has been scheduled for March 20-21, 2021 and the Annual Meeting has been scheduled for August 10, 2021 in Cleveland, Ohio.
