Golden Helmets
Clayton Chong was initiated into Alpha Upsilon at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in November 1971. He is an active member of Hawaii Alumni Chapter, having previously served as President (when the chapter was formed) and as Vice President,
Vice President-Finance and Vice President-Chapter Operations. He has also served as District Director for both Lambda Psi at Hawaii-Hilo and assisted in establishing Lambda Psi Hawaii-Hilo, Rho Chi at Hawaii-Manoa and the Hawaii Alumni Chapter. In
addition to attending many local events in Hawaii, Clayton has attended nine Grand Chapter Congresses. Professionally, Clayton is an attorney at Chong & Chong in Hilo, Hawaii.
David Farner was initiated into Gamma Kappa at Michigan State University in March 1964. He was later active with the Lower Michigan Alumni Chapter, serving a Vice President-Finance and District Director for the chapter.
David attended his son’s initiation when Gamma Kappa reactivated in 1995.
Silver Helmets
Carrie Burns was initiated into Alpha Tau at Mercer University in November 1995. Carrie served as Southern Provincial Vice President from 2017 until 2021. During that time, she also served on the Member Development Group on the Pandemic
Task Force. She has also served as Southeastern Regional Vice President and District Director for Tau Psi at Coastal Carolina and Alpha Tau at Mercer and is a member of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter. Brother Burns has attended over 50 events, including
eight Grand Chapter Congresses. She is also a supporter of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation, recognized with the Entrepreneur Lifetime Giving Level, and is now a member of the Deltasig Investors Roundtable. Carrie lives in Downtown Atlanta
with her husband Steven and fur baby Watson and volunteers on a number of community boards. She is active in film tourism and after closing her tour company, Atlanta Movie Tours during the pandemic, moved on to a new chapter of her life as the Director
of Marketing at a tourism events company, helping to connect, educate, and inspire tour operators, activities, attractions, and experiences around the world.
Erica Verderico was initiated into Beta Pi at Kent State University in April 1996. After graduation, Erica joined the Central Office staff as an Educational & Leadership Consultant for two years. Since then, she has served as a District
Director for Iota Upsilon at Cal State-Northridge, Kappa Mu at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo and Tau Omega at La Verne (CA). Erica has been a member of the Cleveland-Akron, Los Angeles and Las Vegas Alumni Chapters, serving as Chapter President
for the Las Vegas Alumni Chapter. Erica has also served as a National Bylaws Reviewer and as a member of the National Alumni Development Committee and the Desert Mountain and South Pacific Regional Awards Committees. She has attended
more than 25 events, including 14 Grand Chapter Congresses, and is a supporter of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation. Erica is the Western regional sales manager at Winholt Equipment Group in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area.
Lance Pauly was initiated into Delta Pi at University of Nevada-Reno in April 1997. He is an active member of the Reno Sierra Nevada Alumni Chapter, previously serving as Vice President-Finance, and is a supporter of the Delta Sigma Pi
Leadership Foundation. He is also an avid Congress attendee, attending every Grand Chapter Congress since 1999. Professionally, Lance is a supervisor with the Postal Service at the Grass Valley, Calif. Post Office.
Tracey Florio Moss was initiated into Eta Psi at University of Houston in November 1995. She began her service as a volunteer immediately upon graduation as an officer of the Space City Alumni Chapter, where she is still an active member.
She has also served as District Director for Eta Psi at Houston and as both South Central Community Service Committee Chair and National Community Service Committee Chair. She is also a supporter of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation, recognized
with the Entrepreneur Lifetime Giving Level, and has served on the Foundation Fraternity Events Committee. Tracey attended her first Grand Chapter Congress in 1997, the first of eight, and has attended nearly 20 national events in total. Professionally,
Tracey is senior category manager at Crown Castle and lives in Houston.
Onuka Ibe was initiated into Iota Nu at Truman State University in November 1996. In 2013, Onuka became the first Black and first African Grand President, serving until 2017, followed by Board service as a Past Grand President until
2021. Onuka led the design of the award-winning Presidents’ Academy and has attended over 120 national events and webinars, including 13 Grand Chapter Congresses, presenting education and leadership sessions at many of them. He is a strong supporter
of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation, serving as a Trustee from 2013-2021 and achieving the Benefactor Lifetime Giving Level. He and his wife, Michelle, launched the Fraternity’s first scholarship fund for Black Deltasigs. Onuka has also
served as Northeastern Provincial Vice President, Ritual Task Force Chair, the 2003 GCC Chancellor, a member of the national DEI Task Force, on several national and regional committees, and as District Director for Iota Nu at Truman State (MO), Iota
Rho at Howard (DC), Chi at Johns Hopkins (MD) and Iota Kappa at James Madison (VA). Professionally, Onuka is senior manager at La Piana Consulting, providing strategy, leadership, and merger support to nonprofits and foundations.
