Two brothers, Katie Paulsen, Wisconsin-La Crosse, and Stephen Sorenson, South Carolina, will be presented Silver Helmets during the Phoenix LEAD School for their service to the Fraternity.
Katie
Paulsen was initiated into Eta Rho at Wisconsin-La Crosse in November 1995. She is an active member of the Phoenix-Thunderbird Alumni Chapter, currently serving as VPCO, having previously served as President. She has also been a member of the
Chicago and Milwaukee Alumni Chapters. She has served as Great Lakes Regional Vice President, District Director for Northern Arizona, Provincial Alumni Development Chair and on the National Alumni Development Committee. Katie is a supporter of the
Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation and has attended nearly 20 National events. Professionally, Brother Paulsen is a senior business analyst with CommonSpirit Health, a nonprofit Catholic health system that operates in 21 states.
Stephen
Sorenson was initiated into Beta Gamma at South Carolina in December 1989, and he served as chapter president. He delivered his powerful keynote presentation, Being a
Modern Leader, to highlight how the Fraternity experience helped prepare him for his career at Microsoft at the 2022 Presidents’ Academy and is presenting it again at the Phoenix LEAD School. Stephen and his wife, Stephanie, South Carolina,
are supporters of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation. Professionally, Stephen is senior director for customer success - Americas FastTrack for Microsoft.
