Gratitude from Frostburg State University President

Jan 25, 2015 – Frostburg State University President shares appreciation for our chapter's commitment to safety on campus.

Dear Delta Sigma Pi National Headquarters,

On behalf of Frostburg State University, I wanted to take a moment to formally share my appreciation of your Omicron Chi Chapter help to take a stand as active bystanders.

In November 2014, members of the Omicron Chi Chapter along with five other fraternal organizations attended a voluntary workshop entitled Consent is So Frat, facilitated by the non-profit of the same name. At this workshop, our students talked about the importance of personifying the values of their respective brotherhood as a means to help our campus community end sexual violence. Omicron Chi Chapter's participation at this event demonstrated their commitment to your values as Delta Sigma Pi members, collegiate scholars, and individuals of high moral character.

I wanted you to be aware of our campus' appreciation of the Omicron Chi Chapter's active participation at this event. We are working diligently at Frostburg State to celebrate our student leaders that take time to utilize their voice to represent important causes. We hope that all our Greek-affiliated students will see Delta Sigma Pi's leadership in this area and replicate their efforts to help promote a violence-free campus community.

With sincere thanks for your support of our students' development,

Dr. Jonathan Gibralter
President
Frostburg State University
