Over the course of 29 years, this annual October occasion has brought together our Fraternity's members in their commitment to benefit their campuses and communities. This year, Central Office staff celebrated the new national service initiative, literacy, by supporting the Oxford Reach Out and Read for Make A Difference Day.
Reach Out and Read is a national organization that promotes reading and early literacy within the healthcare system. Reach Out and Read has been active at Oxford Pediatrics since
1999. The organization relies on donations and grants to buy books for children six months through five years of age, given at their check-up appointments. Their goal is for children to have their own library by the time they start kindergarten! Whether
you’re supporting our national initiative literacy or helping a local community or campus organization like Reach Out and Read, Deltasigs have the power to make a difference!
In past years, Central Office staff have adopted local families in need, supported the Talawanda Oxford Pantry & Social Services, the local animal shelter, collected goods for the Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House and consistently support the Oxford
Chamber of Commerce, the Oxford Lions Club, the Oxford Kiwanis Club and McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital.
We take pride in supporting our community and want to hear about the positive influence Deltasig brothers have had in their own communities. Share your service activities!
