With all colleges/universities temporarily closed and transitioned to online classes, most Delta Sigma Pi collegiate chapters have ceased a majority of operations for the semester. When these chapters return to campus, they will need additional support. With local chapter fundraisers canceled, there is a need for additional dollars to fund student involvement in next year's educational programs and events, such as LEAD Schools and LEAD Provincial Conferences.
As collegiate chapters review their financial strategy for next year, it is important to realize that donations to Chapter Leadership Funds (CLFs) is a great way to supplement next year's budget. Alumni care about their chapters and understand that the current situation is making it difficult to not only operate fully, but to financially plan for the future. Educating alumni on the benefits of CLFs is more important today, than ever. With collegiate chapters no longer hosting in-person events until further notice, connecting with alumni in other ways, like asking for support, is a good way to keep them engaged.

As you are likely aware, our college/university has temporarily closed and transitioned to online classes. With that, the chapter has ceased a majority of operations for the semester. When we chapters return to campus, we will need additional support. With our chapters fundraisers canceled, there is a need for additional dollars to fund our brother's involvement in next year's educational programs and events, such as LEAD Schools and LEAD Provincial Conferences.
If you are interested, and able, to assist the chapter financially, we ask you to consider a philanthropic gift to our Chapter Leadership Fund. Your support will directly lessen the upcoming financial deficit our chapter will experience next semester. Donations can be made at
dsp.org/donate, and by choosing our Chapter Leadership Fund as the designation. Thank you!

The Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation established a Chapter Leadership Fund (CLF) for each Delta Sigma Pi collegiate chapter. CLFs are chapter-specific accounts created to receive charitable gifts from those who wish to directly support a local collegiate chapter. Through local and national efforts, alumni and friends are encouraged to financially support their local chapter through giving to a CLF.
Collegiate chapters can request grants directly from their CLF to defray the direct costs related to a Delta Sigma Pi program, such as LEAD Schools, LEAD Provincial Conferences and Grand Chapter Congress. CLF grants can specifically help cover registration fees, travel and lodging. Once gifts are made to a CLF, the chapter can start requesting grants.
The Leadership Foundation launched CLFs in an effort to strategically create a new giving opportunity aimed at providing chapters more financial resources to fully participate in Delta Sigma Pi's outstanding educational and leadership development programs.
