A special THANK YOU and congratulations to the three newly elected Leadership Foundation Trustee Emeriti: Onuka Ibe, Truman State (MO), Larry Van Quathem, Arizona, and Mike Vitale, Rider (NJ).
We are excited to welcome three new Leadership Foundation Trustees: Joelle Berlat, Houston, Conchita Dixon, Penn State – Erie, and Tosin Odesanya, Georgia Southern. Leadership Foundation Trustees serve up to three consecutive two-year terms and are elected/re-elected at each Annual Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Leadership Foundation. They join the following line-up of Foundation Trustees: Tim Augustine, Jeff Briggs, Shawn Gregory, Randy Hultz- President & Chair, Beth Keith- Vice Chair, Jodi Schoh, Tricia Smith, and Cory Stopka.
“I am looking forward to working with these brothers in their various leadership roles,” said President & Chair Randy Hultz. “We have a highly motivated group of Trustees that have a desire to move Delta Sigma Pi forward. We thank them for their service and look forward to a productive year.”
The 2021-22 Executive Committee consists of Randy Hultz, Beth Keith, Jeff Briggs, Shawn Gregory and Bill Schilling (ex officio, non-voting). The Executive Committee is responsible for monitoring the overall operations of the Foundation in the interim between meetings of the Board.
The Foundation’s committees continue to provide opportunities for the organization to foster and develop talent in order to keep the leadership pipeline full. Involving more people, allowing volunteers to use their specialized skills or interests, and addressing work in right-sized groups make committees a very real asset. The following Committee Chairs assumed office at the adjournment of the 2021 Annual Meeting and will serve until the adjournment of the 2022 Annual Meeting.
- Beth Keith serves as the Advancement Committee Chair. This committee focuses on fundraising, stewardship and engagement.
- Shawn Gregory serves as the Audit Committee Chair. This committee focuses on the Foundation’s annual audit and internal controls.
- Katie Magoon serves as the Board Development & Nominations Committee Chair. This committee focuses on Trustee recruitment, board training and standards.
- Jeff Briggs serves as the Finance Committee Chair. This committee focuses on budgeting, financial management and investments.
- The Scholarship & Grants Committee Chair is still to be named. This committee focuses on the allocation of grants and academic scholarships.

Other actions at the meeting include:
- Reviewed the recipients of the 2021 academic scholarships, as approved by the Scholarship & Grant and Executive Committees.
- Identified future goals, objectives and strategies.
- Determined that the Board of Trustees Mid-Year Meeting will likely take place in Austin, TX on February 18, 2022.
