We are pleased to announce the second annual Founders’ Day Challenge fundraising campaign will take place November 5-7, 2022. The 2021 Founders' Day Challenge raised over $100,000 and we're so excited to see what 2022 brings!
The Fraternity’s two current National Collegians of the Year, Brennen Feder and Christian Loeb, serve as co-chairs for the Founders’ Day Challenge, surrounded by a team of ambassadors and other champions. With their diverse involvement at national and local levels, recent grad and young-professional perspectives, supporters of the Foundation and Fraternity in myriad ways, and more, they are outstanding spokespersons to support the Founders’ Day Challenge and encourage growth and use of the Chapter Leadership Funds, annual fund and endowments overall. Both will help provide ideas and guidance for the campaign and will help communicate the importance of the Chapter Leadership Funds to all Deltasigs.
What is the Founders' Day Challenge?
The Founders' Day Challenge is a fundraising campaign created as an effort to raise money for the Chapter Leadership Funds (these funds help chapters cover the cost of national Fraternity events,
professional development events and more) and the annual fund while celebrating Founders' Day. We will use ambassadors, challenge gifts, social media and email to make a significant push to increase dollars given, the number of new donors and gifts given by current donors.
Preparing for the Founders' Day Challenge:
1) Become an ambassador: Ambassadors have a simple, yet important mission
- spread the word about Delta Sigma Pi's days of giving to your social media
networks. Ambassadors will be provided materials to help ensure the success of
the Leadership Foundation's day of giving. If you are interested in serving as
a fundraising Ambassador and/or have additional questions about this campaign,
please contact foundation@dsp.org.
2) Join the Webinar: The Leadership Foundation will be hosting "Raising Funds for Your Chapter Leadership Fund – The 2022 Founders’ Day Challenge",
a webinar, on October 12 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. We'll be discussing Chapter Leadership Funds, how to customize team pages, set up individual pages and more! The webinar is geared toward chapter officers, but all are welcome. There will be time
at the end for questions.
3) Start Fundraising: Founders' Day Challenge campaign pages will be available to all members beginning October 5. Stay tuned for more details.
