Corie Mowery Named National Award Chair

Jul 18, 2024 – Corie Mowery, Penn State-Erie, has been appointed National Scholastic Development and Awards Chair.

In serving as National Scholastic Development and Awards Committee Chair, Corie will be responsible for the development of programs, encouraging scholastic achievement among collegiate members and developing and overseeing the Fraternity’s awards programs. The committee will work closely with the Provincial Scholastic Development and Awards Committees to achieve the Fraternity’s goals and objectives in the areas of scholarship and awards programs.

Brother Mowery is a proud graduate of Penn State University-Erie with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Corie also has a master’s degree in management and technology, and business administration from Carlow University. Professionally, she has worked in a series of different business analyst roles over her career. Currently, she works at PNC Financial Servies as a senior business systems analyst in Pittsburgh, where she resides with her husband, Brad and four children.

Corie has held various leadership positions within the Fraternity. She previously served as National Scholastic Development and Awards Chair from 2009-2013. She also served as District Director for Duquesne (PA) and the West Liberty Startup Group (now closed). Corie has been a Provincial Chair and member for the Scholastic Development and Awards Committee and served as Chair and member of several different Leadership Foundation committees. She is also a Leadership Foundation Trustee Emeritus.
