Cathy Edwards joined the Central Office staff in 2022. Her responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Central Office staff and filling in when extra hands are needed across the office.
Cathy has worked at Miami University for 36 years, with more than 30 years of service for the Department of Geology and its Institute for the Environment and Sustainability. Cathy managed incoming and outgoing emails, maintained class schedules within the system, took faculty-meeting minutes, and gained valuable skills in various Microsoft and web-based platforms.
Cathy lives in Hamilton, Ohio, with her husband, Douglas, and enjoys gardening, decorating, spending time with family and attending her grandson’s sporting events. She loves peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream, the movie The Wizard of Oz, and the song “You Say” by Lauren Daigle.
