Please join in a children’s book drive at the Southern LEAD Provincial Conference.  The greatest need is Pre-K through 5^th grade books.

Promising Pages, the Charlotte, NC area book bank, envisions a world where all children have home libraries of self-selected books in which they see themselves reflected and they have made reading a joyful habit for a lifetme. They work to create a culture of book sharing and ownership by collecting new and gently used books and sharing them with children living in the “Book Desert” – those with few, if any books at home. 

You can drop off your donations and participate in making bookmarks at the Community Service table.
