Brother Stackhouse will receive her award Saturday, August 13 in St. Louis. See event for more details.
    Stackhouse is executive vice president and managing officer of the banking supervision, credit risk management, community development and learning innovation division of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Brother Stackhouse was earned the 2016 Deltasig Career Achievement Award for her distinguished work at the Federal Reserve and through her accomplishments in the community.
    The award is presented annually to the Delta Sigma Pi member who has most distinguished himself or herself in business, government or education and, through his or her accomplishments, has furthered a higher standard of commercial ethics, culture, and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. Brother Stackhouse will be presented the award at an event later this year and will be featured in the March issue of The DELTASIG magazine. Here are some of Julies' career highlights:

• Following graduation, Julie landed a position with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City as an Assistant Bank Examiner.
• 1986--Named an officer of the Bank, the first woman to achieve that level.
• 1993--Named Senior Vice President of the Kansas City Reserve Bank, again the first woman to achieve that level in the organization.
• 1995--Left the Federal Reserve and relocated to Minnesota as a part of a job transfer for her husband. Over the next five years, Julie focused on raising her two children Steve and Sara and became active in numerous nonprofit organizations.
• 2000--Rejoined the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
• 2002--Transferred to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, where she is now serving as executive vice president and managing officer of the banking supervision, credit risk management, community development and learning innovation division.
• Served on the advisory board that developed the Washington University Women’s Leadership Certificate Program.
• Served as St. Louis Chapter President of the National Charity League, Inc., a mother-daughter philanthropic organization. Julie is now finishing her sixth year on the national Board as Treasurer.
• Julie’s other Board positions include her role as Secretary for the Open Door Animal Sanctuary and participation on the Women’s Advisory Board for Variety the Children’s Charity.
