Tim Gover Receives Recognition

Jan 27, 2020 – Tim Gover was presented with a Benefactor award for his lifetime support totaling more than $25,000.

Brother Gover, Southern Methodist (TX), the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, has a long history of supporting the Fraternity. He was initiated into Beta Phi at Southern Methodist University in December 1958. When Gover became a professor of finance at Eastern Illinois in 1963, he helped charter Epsilon Omega as chapter advisor and continued to serve until 1985. During that time, he also served as district director for Southern Illinois from 1966 until 1982. He continued to support Deltasig by serving on the Board of Directors being elected into the Golden Council in 1982. He received his Silver Helmet for 25 years of service in 1984 and his Golden Helmet for 50 years of service in 2009. Brother Gover also served as an officer and director of the former Delta Sigma Pi Educational Foundation and recently served on the Leadership Foundation's Gifts and Solicitations committee.
